    CRITICAL ANALYSIS
We have seen a couple of well-made sports biopics in last few years. 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is the next addition to the list and despite being a docu-drama with Sachin himself narrating his journey, it offers perfect doses of entertainment without being slow or boring for a single moment. As fans of the 'God of Cricket', we all know many things about his life and career, but here we get to know the cricketer up, close and personal. The film makes you to walk down the memory lane and relive all those amazing moments which you lived and cherished in the 90s. Sachin does quite well in narrating his story. The voiceovers by sport reporters Harsha Bhogle, Boria Majumdar, Gideon Haigh work well for the film. Well-known cricket stars like M S Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne, Brian Lara, Wasim Akram and Virat Kohli contribute to the film with their amazing quotes. James Erskine has done a wonderful job in directing this film. A.R. Rahman's musical score is just brilliant. Sachin's extraordinary journey shown in the film looks every bit real. The film does not only celebrate the amazing personality that he is but also Indian Cricket in all its glory. Overall, the film is a treat to all the fans of the legend as it brings back all sweet memories of his career.
