Bollywood Queen is ready to become Queen of Jhansi

First song from movie Manukarnika is out now. Vijayi Bhava is the first song from the film is released . This song has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan. And composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy . The song begins with the queen of Jhansi sacrificing Celebrating courage, grit and patriotism, the song shows Ranaut training her people—both men and women—for the battle against the East India Company to protect her homeland Jhansi. We also get a glimpse of Ankita Lokhande as Jhalkari Bai, who was Rani Laxmi Bai’s closest aide and commander of her army.

The 2.41-minute video is a patriotic song . Which would full nation with the proud feeling.

On composing Manikarnika’s music, Mahadevan said  “In any musician’s career, a film like Manikarnika becomes a landmark dream project, which is challenging and musically enriching at the same time. “I think we have been lucky enough to be offered projects like these and even after 50 years we can look back and say that we were proud ones to create music for this historic epic. The songs have got musical depth, lot of melody and emotion of patriotism. It is indeed a proud moment for us.”


The recently released song brings to the screen both the soft and bold side of Kangana’s character Rani Laxmi Bai.The makers of the film used Twitter handle to share the song, writing, ” Jab beti uth khadi hoti hai tabhi vijay badi hoti hai! #VijayiBhava out now.” The patriotic song has been lyricist by Prasoon Joshi.

Kangana’s strong performance and the captivating visuals will surely leave the audience smitten by the song!

The film is based on period drama on the life and struggles of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and her war against the British East India Company, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Apart from Kangana and Ankita, the film also stars Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the big screens on January 25, 2019.
