Amitabh, Ranbir and Alia’s  ‘Brahmastra’ to cost over Rs 150 crore?

‘Brahmastra’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt has been the talk of the town for its superhero  plot apart from its star-studded cast.  Recently, director Ayan Mukerji expressed his excitement for the film saying that he hopes it becomes “the biggest success of his career”,to be shot on a budget more than 150 crores. The makers of the fantasy adventure series are reportedly keen to make this project match to Hollywood standards.The film is in 3D is slated to release in 2019.

Salman Khan books EID 2019 for his next “Bharat”

Salman Khan continuing the tradition has yet again blocked the auspicious date for his 2019 release .The film produced by Atul Agnihotri, post the Blockbuster 2011 Eid release ‘Bodyguard’ and  Ali Abbas Zafar directing the actor post 2016 Blockbuster Eid release ‘Sultan’.. The film titled “Bharat”will reportedly be shot in Abu Dhabi and Spain, besides Punjab and Delhi . Prep in every

department will be elaborate and thecasting will be done over the next three months.The film will go on floor in April 2018.

Tips Films has officially announced the star cast of upcoming Bollywood thriller Race 3, and we cannot keep calm. Not only does the film star Salman Khan, the entire star cast has undergone a massive change. After Dhoom, it is Race franchise which has been able to make its own fan following among the Indian audience. So far, the film has had two installments with Saif Ali Khan leading the pack which also included stars like Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu in Race 1 and John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandezin Race 2. However, this time, the Race cast has undergone a massive change and it is superstar Salman Khan who would take the driving seat and race to the finish. Supporting him in the franchise’s third installment is the sizzling hot lady Jacqueline Fernandez.

Amitabh to star in Nagraj Manjule’s Jhund 
According to the sources Amitabh Bachchan has started working for 2016 Marathi hit film  “Sairat” fame director Nagraj Manjule’s  film “Jhund” which is a biopic on a life  Vijay Barse, a retired school teacher from Pune, who set up the Slum Soccer programme to train underprivileged children in football. The actor had already given his dates of October and November to the film maker. In fact Big B was approached for a role in Salman Khan starrerr “Race 3” but unfortunately he had earlier committed  October and November dates to the above mentioned  film “Jhund”  Therefore he had to decline the offer of “Race 3”,Well, it would have definitely been phenomenal to see Salman and Big B in the same film, which hasn’t happened since the 2008 film ‘God Tussi Great Ho’.

Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt return for ‘Sadak 2’; tentative release August 31, 2018

Twenty-seven years after ‘Sadak’ was unveiled on December 20, 1991, its sequel is scheduled to return to the theaters, tentatively on August 31, 2018.Mukesh Bhatt who is producing the film with brother Mahesh has pencilled the date and niece Pooja, who is their deputy on the film and its leading lady, is hoping to keep the deadline given that it is close to her hero , Sanjay Dutt’s  July 29 birthday. Sanjay returns as Ravi, the taxi driver who rescued a young innocent from the clutches of brothel owner Maharani, at the risk of his own life in Part One.

Even as he gears up for Padmavati release, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finalised the cast for his film on Amrita Pritam-Sahir Ludhianvi, reported love story. While Deepika Padukone reportedly roped in to play poet Amrita Pritam, Sahir’s role will be essayed by Abhishek Bachchan.Deepika , who is gearing up for release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, has been in the director’s next venture and Abhishek Bachchan will star opposite her .


Shahid Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali to come together for a film!

Shahid Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali created magic with ‘Jab We Met’. Just a few days back, the makers celebrated 10 years of the film at his hometown Jamshedpur  and now we hear that the director-actor duo is coming back together for another  rom-com. However, Imitiaz is hunting for the female lead . The film kicks off in Mumbai in April and will be followed by an extensive shoot, both in India and abroad.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen next in ‘Fanney Khan’, co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor.According to reports, Aishwarya will reportedly play a singer in the film and will feature

in three songs. While one will be a romantic track with Rajkummar, the other will be a peppy dance number for Aishwarya, and the third, an emotional number that will feature both the actress Aishwarya and Yami Gautam. Aishwarya is reported to shoot for the film from beginning of November to the end of November as it will be start to end schedule.

On Padmini’s birthday on Wednesday, Anil shared a photograph from the 1983 film ‘Woh 7 Din’ and captioned it, “Happy birthday to my first leading lady Padmini Kolhapure! It’s because she agreed to do ‘Woh 7 Din’ that I am where I am today!”

Kajol to play a mother in Pradeep Sarkar-Ajay Devgn’s next?

Kajol  has been roped in for Pradeep Sarkar’s next directorial which is an adaptation of Anand Gandhi’s Gujarati play, ‘Beta Kaagdo’. In the film, Kajol will reportedly be playing a single parent, as the story revolves around a mother-son relationship. He, however, added that they are still scouting for the boy who will play her son. Kajol’s husband and actor, Ajay Devgn will be co-producing

the film with Abhinav Shukla.
